Compression connector with male thread for steel/copper tube

PROFACTOR® axial fittings with a sliding sleeve are designed for creating joints in piping systems made of cross-linked polyethylene pipes. Today this is the most reliable and user-friendly system used for water supply and heating, including underfloor heating. The fittings are called axial because the joint between the pipe and the fitting is formed by an axial pressing of the sliding sleeve onto the section of the pipe into which the fitting nipple is inserted. As a result, the pipe is tightly pressed against the nipple of the fitting, creating a strong and reliable connection in which the sealing element is the cross-linked polyethylene pipe itself, which has a “molecular memory” effect and tends to return to its original state after internal expansion.

The fittings are manufactured on automated equipment at the well-known Italian company General Fittings Srl.
